About Calendar Ireland
What this site is for
Calendar Ireland brings together the current date, month and year calendars, week numbers and public-holiday information. It is built for practical planning at home, at work, at school and while travelling.
The calendar distinguishes statutory public holidays from dates that may be commonly described as bank holidays or observed by particular organisations. Local schedules and workplace arrangements can still differ.
How we organise the calendar
We use Monday-first calendar grids and ISO week numbering, which makes the pages practical for Irish work, school and travel planning. We review labels, navigation and the relationship between yearly, monthly and holiday pages so the same date is represented consistently.
This is not a government website. Important employment, travel, banking or legal decisions should be checked against the relevant authority or organisation.
Corrections and updates
Official schedules and observed dates can change. If you notice a missing holiday, an incorrect weekday, a broken link or unclear wording, use the contact page and include the affected URL and a reliable reference.
The project is published at calendarireland.com.
